Ebbe Altberg, the new CEO of Linden Labs, provided a keynote address at the Virtual Worlds Best Practices in Education Conference (VWBPE) 2014 run in Second Life. The Second Life audience count was reported to be over 200 with a further 150 observing on the simultaneous video streaming feed.
Indicates he will change the terms and conditions to make clear Linden labs intend that creators own their contents and Linden Labs just need permissions to use as they need.
Also states Linden Labs wants to enable export and import easily to other platforms on need such as to OpenSim.
