AI Caution
While this is very impressive, there are big risks with this kind of technology. The “podcasters” really did sound very natural and could be real. The audio file separated from its context in the NotebookLM web area could be taken as real. Information may note be accurate as the NotebookLM site makes clear.
NotebookLM may still sometimes give inaccurate responses, so you may want to confirm any facts independently.
The audio files and AI generated summaries or other data can be reused as source material in further AI generated work even if its inaccurate. Imagine also if cloned voices of some of the original authors of the source material like @humbleuim and @aiaustin had been used and used inaccurate information or summarised things they would not have said themselves. Clear AI labelling is obviously needed, not just in the original context but any separate parts.
